2. Development of nucleus stock production, capacity building programmes and training of bee breeders and beekeepers, processing, research work, etc. and conducting of seminars.
3. Dissemination of information on technological advancement in the field of beekeeping through its various publications and the quarterly magazine “Bee World”.
4. Initiating steps for quality honey production and other bee hive products for overseas and domestic markets besides enhancing productivity of various crops through bee pollination.
5. Increasing the employment opportunity in rural sector and thus enhancing the ancillary income of the beekeepers & farmers.
